Food Drop - Larapinta Trail

Larapinta Trail Food Drop Service

Walking the Larapinta Trail and need a food drop at Standley Chasm (Angkerle)? We offer a convenient food drop service for just $5 per box.

There is no need to book in advance. Simply bring your food drop box to the Chasm Café during our trading hours (8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday to Saturday ONLY) and our staff will assist you.

How it works:

1. Bring your clearly labelled food drop box to the Chasm Café.
2. Let our staff know the date you expect to return to Standley Chasm to collect it.
3. Pay the $5 food drop fee.
4. Our staff will show you where to place your box and explain the collection process.

If you need accommodation when you return to collect your food drop, camping is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so there is no need to pre-book a campsite. Please pay the camping fee when you arrive.

For trail walkers who simply need to freshen up before continuing their journey, hot showers are available for $5 per person.

Trading Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday to Saturday ONLY.
